These are links to some of my favorite photographic websites. Some are personal friends that are photographers, some are organizational affiliations, while others are photographers that I have never met personally but the work they showcase on their websites is a never ending source of inspiration for my work.
Joe's NYC | Joseph O. Holmes' street photography in New York is a terrific inspiration to me. I especially look forward to his new daily images of New York street scenes. His resume of gallery representations is quite extensive; among those being the Jen Bekman Gallery in New York and the Wall Space Gallery in Seattle, WA. |
Ron Hammond | Ron does lots of Street Photography as well as portraiture. He has some great Silver Gelatin images that he created over the years. Ron and I are both members Group f/5.6 as well as part of a New Work Review Group meeting regularly to critique each other's work in progress. |
Paul Butzi | Paul is a landscape photographer with some absolutely great images from around the area where he lives. Paul and I are both members of Group f/5.6. |
Katrina Kruse | Katrina photographs underwater sea life on a very small scale. She has some absolutely stunning color images on her website. Her and her husband have recently moved to Puerto Rico. |
David Clarridge (1946-2007) | David was a landscape photographer that mostly created his photographs with a pin-hole camera. His work includes some beautiful photographs of the Washington State coastal areas as well as his travels throughout the southwestern United States and Scotland. |
Group f/5.6 | Group f/5.6 is an informal group of photographers in the Seattle area. We meet regularly to encourage and support each other, review work, and share information on galleries, shows, etc. It's not a camera club, and there aren't any competitions. Group f/5.6 is just a bunch of photographers who support each other, encourage each other, and keep each other photographically productive. |
Nancy Medwell Photography | Nancy is a Seattle area photographer who photographs touching and beautiful informal portraits of families, children and the elderly. I've drawn much inspiration from her work as I was working on my "Graceful Years" project. |
A Walk Through Durham Township | Kathleen Connally has a very rich collection of work photographed around the Durham Township area in Pennsylvania. Her work is very insightful and captivating. I also draw much inspiration from her work. Not to mention, she's got a very interesting photoblog. |
Frank Horvat Photography | A beautiful website from a truly amazing photographer. Street photography and human interest images are displayed from around the world. Definitely worthwhile!! |
The Digital Journalist | It's a great sight for anyone interested in digital photojournalism. It's updated monthly, has great articles, images and tons of links to other related sites. Definitely worth a "surf". |
